The strain of the week is…
Mango Kush from our very own aquaponic farm! This tropical strain tastes of juicy mangoes with a hint of banana and earthy undertones. It’s an indica-dominant (65% indica/ 35% sativa) cross between Mango and Hindu Kush with effects that kick in almost immediately. While this bud isn’t a go-to strain for treating nausea, it’s often described as a classic “munchie-inducing” strain due to its appetite enhancing effect.
The Mango Kush plant is resilient, making it a great entry-level plant for the novice grower. Highly resistant to disease, the plant thrives in warm, dry, and sunny conditions with temperatures ranging between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. According to our head grower, Bain, this bud grows short and stout with heavy dense bud. To prevent mold, it’s important to trim and train the canopy, removing small branches so that the big ones can breathe. The flowering cycle typically takes 8-9 weeks.
